Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with our center, your role will involve:

• Group Therapy: Leading dynamic group sessions designed to encourage sharing and connection among clients, facilitating peer support and collective healing.

• Individual Therapy: Providing personalized therapy sessions where you will empathetically help clients navigate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and create customized coping strategies tailored to their needs.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and take into account their unique aspirations and challenges.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assessing client progress using established assessment tools and soliciting client feedback to refine and enhance treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on young adults within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), which encompasses individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. Your expertise will guide these clients in finding pathways to recovery, fostering hope, and nurturing their emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

Preferred Experience\n
