Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT licensure in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)

• Knowledge of IEP documentation and special education processes
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities

Typical Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments and direct therapy services to students according to IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized interventions
• Assist in developing classroom strategies and modifications to promote student access and participation
• Document services, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
• Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary team activities as needed
• Engage students in creative, functional activities that enhance academic and daily living skills
