Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an engaging contract role serving students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. Work on-site across multiple school locations near Aurora, IL, providing essential support from Pre-K through transition age (up to 22). Enjoy a dynamic, full-time itinerary—your weekly schedule (35–37.5 hours) will span elementary, middle, and high schools within the district, adapting to varying start and end times at each site.

What you’ll bring:

• Active clinical license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Valid educator license through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Ability to serve an itinerant caseload, collaborating with diverse school teams
• Comfort in adapting services for students ranging from Pre-K to transition age
• Willingness to complete required fingerprinting for credentialing
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

What you’ll do:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy to students at multiple district schools
• Partner with teachers, families, and school staff to support students’ participation and success
• Develop and implement treatment plans following students’ IEPs and school protocols
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Provide consultative guidance within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Efficiently manage a flexible caseload based on school assignments
