Work Environment

Your work will be conducted onsite at our Assisted Living Facility, where you will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff. Key Responsibilities

• Promptly respond to patient consults, admissions, and participate in provider rounds, including writing clinical notes, entering orders, and performing wound care.
• Efficiently enter admission, pre-operative, and post-operative orders while maintaining a high standard of care and accuracy.
• Prepare and educate patients for surgical procedures, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide updates and support, ensuring they are aware of care plans and health statuses.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations, safeguarding patient information and adhering to best practices in healthcare management.
• Follow all institutional and departmental policies and procedures to uphold the values of patient care and operational excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at Valley Urgent Care, you will serve a diverse patient demographic, including elderly residents in our Assisted Living Facility. You will address a range of urgent care needs, from routine healthcare to acute medical issues, providing tailored care that respects the unique circumstances and backgrounds of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher degree, such as a Master’s in Nursing (MSN), with a specialization in Nurse Practitioner.
• Valid APRN State License, DEA number, and NPI number are required for this role.
• Strong knowledge of acute care practices and the capacity to apply evidence-based clinical skills in patient care.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling the building of strong relationships with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing changing priorities and patient needs.
• Demonstrated ability to empathize and engage with people of all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in an urgent care or acute care setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems that enhance the efficiency and quality of patient care.
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating care for patients with complex medical needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Valley Urgent Care offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
