Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' needs, goals, and progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices, including a range of therapeutic techniques designed to enhance mobility and function.
• Administer therapies that promote recovery while minimizing reliance on medications, offering alternative, non-surgical treatment options.
• Maintain a consistent patient load of one individual per hour to ensure comprehensive and focused care.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as manual therapy and exercise prescription, in the delivery of treatments.
• Encourage patient engagement by motivating them throughout the rehabilitation process to achieve their maximum potential.
• Evaluate patient outcomes, monitor progress closely, and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in compliance with EMR software systems, such as WebPT.
• Actively collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance treatment plans and ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your experience will allow you to cater to diverse clinical presentations, ensuring tailored interventions for various age groups and fitness levels.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to provide the highest level of care.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist without any board or disciplinary actions is essential.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design is a must.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, will be advantageous in managing patient documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable and will benefit the team and patients alike.
• A background in designing customized wellness and fitness programs for rehabilitation patients is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
