Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, strengths, and areas for growth.

• Develop, implement, and regularly adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's recovery journey, focusing on trauma resilience and overall well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in processing traumatic experiences.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients develop coping mechanisms, build resilience, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis support and intervention for patients during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate therapeutic strategies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping techniques, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and relevant professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed care best practices.

• Stay informed about recent advancements in trauma therapy, integrating new findings into practice when applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Holistic Mental and Counseling Services, you will engage with a diverse client population primarily composed of individuals facing trauma-related challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, with a strong preference for candidates with trauma-focused training.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions to diverse populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an empathetic, non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
