Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial evaluations to assess the needs and challenges faced by students and their families, aiming to enhance treatment compliance and overall health outcomes.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating safe and respectful spaces for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.

• Work closely with a team of educators, healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate care, ensuring continuity and comprehensive support for all patients.

• Provide consultation on students’ psychosocial needs, collaborating with teachers and school administrators to create an educational environment that fosters mental well-being.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of social work activities in compliance with departmental standards and the NASW Code of Ethics.

• Engage in community outreach to identify resources that can enhance patient support, with a focus on advocacy and promoting self-determination among our client base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW, you will primarily serve school-aged children and adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your work will be focused on understanding the developmental aspects of your clients, incorporating their cultural backgrounds, and addressing their unique educational needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, along with a current license from the Virginia State Board of Social Work Licensure at the level of Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Evidence of strong analytical skills, therapeutic skills, and the ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans that reflect best practices in mental health care.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and collaborating staff effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a health or mental health setting, preferably involving the school population.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position is competitive, with an annual range of $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
