The Balance Booster Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and proficient Physical Therapist to join our team in Naples, Florida. This full-time position requires a passionate professional who is skilled in evaluating and treating patients experiencing movement disorders, pain, or mobility challenges. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing personalized therapy plans aimed at enhancing patients' functionality, improving their strength, and facilitating their long-term recovery.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our outpatient office, where collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is at the heart of our operations. You will work alongside other healthcare providers, including occupational therapists, physicians, and case managers, ensuring that every patient receives coordinated and comprehensive care. Our work hours are structured Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options available, including shifts from 8 AM–4 PM, 9 AM–5 PM, or four 10-hour shifts, allowing for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs, establishing a baseline for their physical condition and identifying specific rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating a range of modalities, including exercise therapy, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Administer hands-on therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic exercises, modalities, and interventions to enhance patient mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes, documenting all actions and changes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare providers to ensure that patient care is holistic and meets all medical guidelines, participating in case conferences and team meetings.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families about rehabilitation strategies, injury prevention, and self-management techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders. You will engage with patients of all ages and backgrounds, applying your expertise to address their unique rehabilitation needs and goals. Your empathy and patient-centered approach will be essential in building rapport and ensuring effective communication, which is vital for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• An active Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain one within the required timeframe.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling you to foster strong relationships with patients and collaborate effectively within a clinical team.
• Demonstrated ability to develop tailored therapy interventions appropriate for diverse patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on diverse patient demographics.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and care coordination.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and the latest trends in rehabilitation therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

An attractive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 per year awaits the chosen candidate, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
