Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Manor Healthcare and Rehabilitation, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to develop individualized treatment plans based on functional limitations and disabilities.
• Implement appropriate therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
• Regularly reassess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and professional standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss patient care, share documentation, and address any changes to prescribed treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing patient and family education, helping them understand the rehabilitation process and discharge planning.
• Participate in leadership initiatives such as community outreach, program development, and training of staff and students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse patient population suffering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
