Work Environment

This role involves on-site interaction with patients in their homes, enhancing our home care services to restore movement in a familiar environment. You will be part of a supportive and dynamic healthcare team, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Our home care setting allows for personalized, one-on-one care, which is essential in developing effective treatment plans tailored for each patient's journey toward recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand each patient's goals and specific needs, developing individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient load with a focus on quality care, typically serving one patient per hour to ensure focused attention.
• Utilize evidence-based methods to deliver therapeutic interventions that enhance range of motion and mobility, while also reducing reliance on medication through non-surgical options.
• Design and implement customized fitness programs that foster strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall wellness, addressing each patient's unique physical demands.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT for efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on home exercises and wellness practices that will encourage ongoing improvement and independence.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adapt plans as necessary to ensure optimal progress and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele served at PhysioCare encompasses individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and age-related musculoskeletal disorders. The goal is to provide high-quality care that not only focuses on rehabilitation but also empowers patients to lead healthier, more active lives.

Qualifications

• Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques as well as the design and execution of exercise programs that meet diverse patient needs.
• Experience in home care settings, showcasing the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches in different environments.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy.
• Demonstrated skills in the use of EMR software, particularly WebPT, to track patient progress and streamline documentation.
• Experience in implementing wellness and preventative care programs within a rehabilitation framework.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
