Work Environment

The position is based in our modern rehabilitation center situated in beautiful Naples, Florida. Our facility is fully equipped with the latest technology and resources to enhance patient care. As part of our onsite team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a dynamic atmosphere that promotes teamwork and continuous learning. Our operational hours are from Monday to Friday, with flexibility in scheduling, typically ranging from 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and establish customized treatment plans aimed at rehabilitating orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions including active and passive exercises, manual therapy techniques such as massage, and innovative modalities tailored for mobility improvement and pain relief.
• Guide and educate patients through exercises, activities of daily living, prosthetic adjustments, and gait retraining to restore functional independence.
• Document all patient interactions accurately, managing electronic health records to maintain proper care continuity and facilitate effective communication among multidisciplinary team members.
• Engage in regular consultations with medical team members and participate in case discussions to ensure holistic, high-quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult and elderly patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Building rapport with patients is paramount as you will play a critical role in not only their physical recovery but also in their emotional support. Your compassionate and understanding demeanor will help foster a rehabilitative atmosphere where patients feel valued and motivated throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current active state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Minimum of one year of experience in orthopedic physical therapy practice.
