Work Environment

In this role, you will work onsite, primarily in patients' homes. Our Home Care setting allows you to deliver therapy directly in the environment where patients feel most comfortable. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care plans that address both medical and functional needs. Your typical workdays will involve driving to various locations, creating an engaging and dynamic atmosphere as you move from one patient's home to another.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and sports injuries, employing best practices in physical therapy.
• Develop and implement customized treatment programs that align with individual patient needs, goals, and capabilities.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to facilitate optimal patient recovery and outcomes.
• Educate patients on effective movement techniques, injury prevention strategies, and detailed home exercise programs to promote independence.
• Document patient progress accurately and comprehensively in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to legal requirements.
• Stay informed about current practices and advancements in physical therapy to further enhance care quality and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to champion the best approaches to patient care.

You will primarily work with elderly patients in home care settings, focusing on enhancing their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited university.

• Ability to work independently while effectively managing time and resources.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This full-time role also includes benefits such as:
