Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients presenting with functional limitations and disabilities, devising comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Adhere to state-specific practice acts while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards governing physical therapy practice.

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including a comprehensive review of medical history, application of standardized assessments, and clear documentation of findings and recommendations.

• Implement and modify treatment protocols derived from evidence-based practice and patient assessment results, actively involved in their care journey.

• Serve as a critical communication link among multidisciplinary healthcare teams, documenting any significant changes in patient conditions and coordinating necessary adjustments to the care plan.

• Prepare and execute discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care post-therapy and maintaining accurate medical records throughout the rehabilitation process.

• Commit to ongoing education and training to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy methodologies and regulatory requirements.

• Proactively manage a caseload to maximize departmental productivity while delivering high-quality patient care daily.

• Engage actively in clinical rounds, team meetings, and professional development opportunities, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on patient evaluation and treatment plans.

• Current CPR certification to ensure safety standards within the clinic.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively within a team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy and familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits
