About the Organization

Located in the picturesque Naples, Florida, Flexibility First Physical Therapy operates from a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility. We pride ourselves on providing top-notch care primarily to individuals with private medical insurance. Our committed team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to delivering exceptional rehabilitation services tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite presence at our rehabilitation facility in Naples. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a balanced work-life dynamic while fulfilling the urgent needs of our patients. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation technology and modern therapy tools, ensuring you have all the necessary resources to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand each patient's individual goals and challenges, creating targeted treatment plans to address their specific needs.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on maintaining one-on-one patient interactions to provide personalized care on an hourly basis.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedics and rehabilitation to design and implement effective physical therapy programs that optimize range of motion and mobility.
• Utilize various therapeutic interventions and exercise modalities to minimize medication dependence, promoting holistic recovery.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, providing motivation and support to enhance their compliance and outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and progress evaluations.
• Document treatment services accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with private medical insurance, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other mobility impairments. You will work closely with individuals of all ages, often developing customized fitness and wellness programs designed to enhance their physical capabilities and functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a supportive environment that enhances patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Experience practicing as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Previous familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, will be an advantage in streamlining documentation processes.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or rehabilitation practices will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
