Work Environment

This position will be onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, designed for collaboration and optimal patient care. The typical work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Our facility is equipped with modern therapy tools and technology, ensuring that you have the resources necessary to provide high-quality care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, ensuring comprehensive patient management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, utilizing a variety of assessment techniques to determine functional status and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities tailored to specific patient goals.
• Document all patient care activities and progress accurately in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create cohesive treatment strategies and address complex patient needs.
• Uphold clinical productivity standards while remaining committed to delivering exceptional patient care and support.
• Stay current with ongoing professional education and treatment methodologies to enhance therapeutic practices within the facility.
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members, contributing your expertise to ongoing staff development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working primarily with adult and senior patients recovering from orthopedic procedures such as joint replacements, sports injuries, and spinal surgeries. The goal is to enhance their functional mobility, reduce pain, and facilitate a successful return to their daily activities. Patients will benefit from your expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches, and your commitment to fostering a warm and encouraging therapeutic environment will greatly enhance their rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher, such as a Master's or Doctorate, from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida or nearing eligibility.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting.
• A strong understanding of orthopedic conditions and evidence-based treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR or similar electronic medical record systems for efficient patient documentation and billing.
• Experience in utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques such as dry needling, Kinesio taping, or specialized manual therapy methods.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits.
