Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mobility, physical limitations, and functional needs through a variety of diagnostic tools and observational techniques.
• Develop and implement detailed rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's recovery goals, adapting strategies based on progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to each patient's care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, progress tracking, and lifestyle modifications to enhance at-home recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation to track progress and substantiate treatment protocols in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and innovations in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those managing chronic pain conditions, and patients needing rehabilitation following sports injuries. Our clientele reflects a broad spectrum of ages and physical capabilities, requiring a therapist who is adaptable, compassionate, and knowledgeable in customized rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills demonstrated through 2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication abilities—both verbal and written—facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues and effective education of patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for managing patient information.
• Background in developing group therapy sessions and wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range between $85,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), a 401K plan with a 4% employer contribution, and generous paid time off including 3 weeks of vacation plus 6 paid holidays per year.
