Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Spine and Joint Physical Therapy Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and creating individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the referring physician.
• Implementing a range of therapeutic interventions designed to promote recovery, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities suited for each patient's unique condition.
• Educating patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, self-management strategies, and exercises to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Utilizing advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practices to adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress.
• Documenting patient progress and outcomes diligently to inform ongoing treatment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Fostering a positive and supportive engagement with patients to enhance motivation and compliance with rehabilitation goals.
• Meeting established productivity targets and contributing to overall business goals while maintaining quality patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will serve is diverse and includes orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. By addressing a range of physical therapy needs—from post-operative rehabilitation to injury prevention and recovery—this role allows you to apply your skills across multiple specialties, enhancing your professional versatility and knowledge base.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication, as well as strong computer and documentation skills.
• A proven ability to establish trust and rapport with patients, enhancing their rehabilitation experience and outcomes.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience working in home care or community-based settings.

Compensation and Benefits
