Work Environment

This position is tailored for an in-person practice setting, with therapists primarily delivering care within patients' homes. Working directly in patients' environments allows for a personalized approach to therapy that adapts to individual lifestyles. Your work hours will be scheduled Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, allowing for a consistent routine while providing the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' physical therapy needs based on physician referrals.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that may involve therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and education to promote recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to maximize patient outcomes, adapting treatments as necessary throughout the healing process.
• Provide hands-on care and guidance to patients in their homes, ensuring that therapeutic interventions align with established goals.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about their conditions, treatment methods, and home exercise programs to facilitate ongoing rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes to support ongoing communication with healthcare providers.
• Meet established utilization goals and contribute positively to the team's overall effectiveness and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Florida is a must.
• At least two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a preference for those who have worked in home health settings.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills crucial for patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficient in using technology, including electronic health record systems and basic office software.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, reflecting your experience and commitment to excellence in patient care.
