Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical abilities and limitations, identifying specific therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices to enhance mobility, strength, and overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, treatment progress, and insurance billing practices in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate actively with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress, modify treatment strategies, and ensure comprehensive care is delivered.
• Educate patients and their families about exercise programs, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, contributing to the development and enhancement of clinical programs and staff training.
• Stay current with best practices in the field of physical therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will utilize specialized treatment protocols and rehabilitation techniques to empower patients of all ages to regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Building rapport and encouraging active participation in their rehabilitation journey will be key to your success in this role.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a higher degree such as a Master's or Doctorate from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, is considered a plus.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly within an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and a variety of orthopedic conditions.
• Proficiency in developing patient treatment plans and engaging with patients in therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
