Work Environment

You will be joining a tight-knit team of physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) who share the common goal of offering comprehensive therapeutic services. Our work environment fosters professional growth and knowledge sharing, ensuring that every team member feels supported. The full-time schedule is set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a well-structured routine conducive to both patient care and staff wellness.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to identify patients' needs and establish suitable treatment objectives.
• Delivering efficient patient care by managing a caseload of up to two patients per hour, ensuring optimal treatment without compromising quality.
• Utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices to develop tailored care plans aimed at promoting movement functionality.
• Implementing personalized fitness and rehabilitation programs that align with each patient's unique lifestyle and recovery goals.
• Documenting treatment progress rigorously and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of prescribed interventions and modifying treatment plans as necessary to enhance patient outcomes.
• Providing educational support to patients, encouraging their engagement and active participation throughout the recovery process.
• Minimizing reliance on pain medications by offering effective alternatives that support rehabilitation and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients with various orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. The majority of our patient population is covered by private medical insurance, allowing for focused, individualized care without the constraints of limited resources.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current certification and licensing as a Physical Therapist in Mesquite, NV.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• A high level of competency in manual therapy and a clear understanding of various treatment modalities.
• Ability to create effective exercise regimens tailored to patient-specific goals and physical conditions.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, which is utilized for documenting patient interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, especially those with a background in sports medicine or rehabilitation, will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges annually between USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
