Work Environment

You will be working in a fully equipped Rehabilitation Center located in the thriving community of Mesquite, NV. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming and supportive environment, featuring state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a floater, you will travel between 1-2 clinic locations in the area, allowing you to experience the rich diversity of our patient population and gain insight into various treatment settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple clinic locations to provide hands-on patient care, ensuring each individual receives tailored therapy.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, using findings to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a diverse range of evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, and other modalities designed to enhance patient recovery.
• Educate patients on crucial topics such as injury prevention, proper posture, ergonomics, and self-management strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that complies with both state and federal guidelines, ensuring accurate records of patient progress and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including referring physicians and surgeons, to provide an integrated approach to patient care that maximizes outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient demographic served at ProFlex includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a floater Physical Therapist, you will have the privilege of working with a varied patient population, providing you with the opportunity to enhance your skills and adaptability to different therapeutic approaches based on individual needs.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada .
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, fostering effective interactions with patients and colleagues alike.
• Ability to generate and implement tailored treatment plans based on patient evaluations and individual progress.
• A genuine passion for helping patients achieve significant recovery outcomes and improved quality of life.
• Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to various clinical environments and patient caseloads.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in Orthopedic outpatients.

Compensation and Benefits
