Work Environment

The Floater Physical Therapist will operate onsite at multiple orthopedic outpatient clinics situated in Mesquite and surrounding areas. As the floater, you will embrace a dynamic work schedule from Monday to Friday, within the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for variability that keeps the role engaging and fulfilling.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services in designated clinic locations to promote optimal recovery.
• Utilize a variety of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring seamless documentation and compliance with clinic workflows.
• Step in for physical therapists on leave or during high patient volume periods, adapting quickly to different clinical environments.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to enhance treatment efficacy and patient satisfaction.
• Contribute to system-wide meetings and participate actively in continuing education sessions to stay updated on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Floater Physical Therapist, you will work predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your ability to adapt your approach to cater to a diverse patient demographic—including age, backgrounds, and specific conditions—will be crucial. You will employ customized treatment plans that prioritize improving mobility, strength, and overall functionality, always focusing on achieving the best possible patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Nevada.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-clinic environment.

• Willingness to commute between clinic sites, with travel radius to be discussed during the interview.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, starting at $80,000 and going up to $90,000 per year.
