Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Suncrest, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, adapting treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methods such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to promote recovery.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting treatment outcomes meticulously and making necessary adjustments to enhance recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention strategies, self-care techniques, and post-treatment regimens, fostering a holistic approach to wellness.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons and referring physicians, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Uphold regulatory standards by maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in line with clinic policies.
• Engage in continuous learning by keeping abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and chronic pain management. You will work with individuals ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients dealing with age-related musculoskeletal issues, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to meet their specific rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Registered and licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a degree from an accredited program.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, although new graduates with applicable clinical rotations will be considered.
• Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and functional movement assessments.

Preferred Experience
