Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each patient's physical capabilities and limitations to devise tailored treatment plans aimed at meeting their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Administer skilled physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities appropriate for the geriatric population.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and modify treatment strategies to optimize recovery and improve functionality.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team, including physicians and other therapists, to provide integrated care approaches that address all aspects of a patient's health.
• Educate patients and their families on the benefits of therapeutic exercises and preventive strategies, enhancing their understanding of home exercise programs that support ongoing wellness and independence.
• Implement and lead safety and fall prevention measures in patient homes to reduce risks and enhance the well-being of clients living independently.
• Stay abreast of current trends and techniques in physical therapy through ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality through proper documentation and respectful communication.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working directly with geriatric populations is preferred, however, we welcome applications from new graduates who share our passion for enhancing the lives of elderly individuals.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
