Inside Sales Account Manager

Love the chase? We're looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to grow BLS's branded and specialty nutritional ingredients business across the U.S. and the Asia-Pacific region. You'll open new accounts, deepen existing ones, and help formulators and brand owners build better products. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, comfortable working in a technical B2B environment, and enjoys developing relationships with dietary supplements, functional food, beverage, contract manufacturing, and related health and nutrition companies. What You'll Do Hunt new business by phone, email, referrals, and trade-show follow-up — and turn prospects into long-term customers. Own opportunities end to end: inquiry, quote, sample, technical review, negotiation, PO, and account growth. Grow relationships with supplement, functional food, beverage, and contract-manufacturing companies, plus distributors and suppliers. Drive business development across Asia-Pacific, with a focus on Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Learn the science and tell the story — translating ingredient specs, applications, and regulatory positioning into commercial value. Partner with our technical, quality, regulatory, logistics, and operations teams to get deals done. Negotiate pricing, volumes, lead times, and supply arrangements with an eye on margin. Keep the pipeline sharp in our CRM and share regular updates on customers, competitors, and opportunities. What You Bring 5+ years of B2B sales, account management, or business development experience. Background in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, food or specialty ingredients, pharma, chemicals, or raw-material trading (strongly preferred). Experience doing business in Asia-Pacific and comfortable with cross-border commercial practices — Incoterms, freight, FX, and international payment terms. Genuine curiosity about technical products; a science background is a plus, not a requirement. Strong phone, email, and presentation skills, and no hesitation about outbound outreach. Sound commercial judgment on pricing, cost, margin, and customer value. Organized, self-directed, and energized by a growing entrepreneurial business. Bachelor's degree preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Willingness to travel and to flex occasionally for international time zones.
