Overview Accounting Department Lead (Full-Charge Bookkeeper) | Location: Lantana, FL (On-site) | Pay Range: $30.00 – $35.00 / hour | Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Responsibilities Department Architecture: Design and document standardized accounting procedures (SOPs) for a growing operation. ERP Mastery: Act as the lead user for Famous (Oracle) software, managing inventory costing and data integrity. Full-Cycle Accounting: Execute all AP/AR functions, including 3-way matching and high-volume collections. Compliance & Risk: Oversee Lien Logs and Notice to Owner (NTO) filings; manage 1099s and audit preparation. Cash Flow Strategy: Monitor daily cash positions and provide weekly financial snapshots to ownership. Liaison: Serve as the professional link (English/Spanish) between management, field staff, and vendors. Qualifications Experience: 7+ years of Full-Charge Bookkeeping, preferably in Produce, Agriculture, or Logistics. Technical: Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience with ERP systems (Famous, SAP, or Oracle). Language: Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Mindset: Self-starter who prefers to "write the manual" rather than follow one; understands the fast-paced nature of the produce industry.
