Work Environment

Your primary workplace will be our modern rehabilitation facility, which offers a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. You will work onsite with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to maintaining a high standard of patient care. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you a consistent work schedule while enabling work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Well Guard Clinic, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to identify patient goals and treatment needs.
• Managing and treating a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring personalized and effective care.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Providing evidence-based interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function.
• Monitoring progress regularly and adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educating patients on fitness, wellness, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health.
• Collaborating with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for your patients.
• Documenting all patient care services accurately in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will engage with a diverse patient population, crafting specific programs aimed at enhancing their physical capabilities and restoring their confidence in movement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist License with no board actions or disciplinary actions.
• A National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a solid foundation in exercise-based rehabilitation.
• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities to foster relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will be at an advantage. Familiarity with protocols for rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries or injuries will enrich your expertise and effectiveness as part of our team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
