Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial client assessments to identify stressors and develop personalized mindfulness-based treatment plans.

• Deliver mindfulness-oriented therapies, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to help clients navigate their mental health challenges.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions focused on mindfulness techniques such as meditation and breathing exercises to promote emotional stability.

• Lead engaging group workshops on mindfulness practices and resilience-building strategies, fostering a community of support among clients.

• Maintain thorough documentation of each client's progress, treatment plans, and the mindfulness interventions utilized through our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare professionals to enhance treatment delivery and integrate mindfulness across various therapeutic practices.

• Participate in regular professional development sessions to enhance your understanding of mindfulness applications and to keep up-to-date with best practices in mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Valid licensure as LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated experience and competence in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic practices.

• Effective communication skills with a strong ability to foster a warm and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience\n

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in a mental health-related field is strongly preferred.

• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) methodology or similar is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
