We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy practices, with experience in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Physical Therapist will develop personalized treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, and ensure optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based interventions. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' recovery journeys across various age groups and medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical conditions by conducting thorough evaluations of mobility, strength, and functional abilities using clinical judgment and relevant medical terminology.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and home health care strategies.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patient mobility, reducing pain, restoring function, and enhancing quality of life.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to clinical documentation standards and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and discharge planning processes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, exercises, and home care routines to promote ongoing rehabilitation outside clinical settings.
• Manage discharge planning by assessing patient needs for continued therapy or community support services post-treatment.
• Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and maintain compliance with clinical standards through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist within the state of Florida.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and treatment modalities including trigger point therapy and orthopedics.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and motivate patients throughout their recovery process.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while adhering to clinical documentation standards and healthcare regulations.
