Work Environment

Based in a modern Rehabilitation Center, our Fort Lauderdale facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies and a welcoming atmosphere, facilitating optimal recovery experiences. The center typically operates Monday through Friday, with a standard work week of 40 hours, promoting a work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to identify individual needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions, utilizing specialized techniques to facilitate recovery in a variety of areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Maintain a standard of outstanding customer service, enhancing the overall patient experience and clinic effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes, utilizing shared knowledge and complementary skills.
• Administer therapeutic interventions not only in the clinic but also within patients' homes, adapting techniques to various settings as per the physician's care plan.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers through consultations on recovery practices, self-management, and health maintenance.
• Meet established productivity and utilization metrics, contributing to the clinic's operational and financial goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will treat a diverse range of patients, from young children through older adults, each presenting unique injuries and rehabilitation needs. This includes developing tailored therapy programs for orthopedic injuries, managing chronic conditions for neurologic patients, and guiding pediatric patients through specialized developmental support. Your ability to connect with patients and foster trust will be pivotal in helping them achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective patient interactions and documentation.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to build rapport with patients, fostering relationships that enhance the therapeutic experience.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
