Work Environment\n

As a remote team member, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while adhering to a regular workweek, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our outpatient office setting offers a dynamic workplace where you can collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a culture of support and innovation. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mood disorders, evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms to understand their mental health needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and preferences, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide counseling services not only to individuals but also to groups facing challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, and refugee status, fostering a supportive and healing environment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to encourage active participation in their recovery journey.

• Monitor and document client progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic client care and integrated treatment strategies.

• Remain current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic practices and client outcomes.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with privacy protections.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to foster a culture of learning and collaboration.

• Act as an advocate for mental health both within and outside the clinic, working to reduce stigma and promote access to necessary resources for clients.

Your primary focus will be on individuals suffering from various mood disorders, including those experiencing depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will engage with a diverse client base, including vulnerable populations such as individuals navigating homelessness, survivors of domestic abuse, and refugees adjusting to new environments. Your role will be critical in providing emotional support and innovative treatment approaches that cater specifically to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
