Work Environment\n

The work setting for this position is entirely remote, allowing our therapists to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of their own homes while serving the community in Arvada, Colorado, and beyond. The role involves delivering both individual in-home treatment and group therapy sessions, ensuring that our therapists have the flexibility to create personalized engagement plans that suit the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct personalized in-home therapy sessions and group sessions aimed at addressing the specific developmental and emotional needs of children aged 3-20.

• Implement targeted techniques focused on anger management, coping strategies, and enhancing social skills to reduce high-risk behaviors, including Self-Injurious Behavior (SIB) and physical violence.
\n
• Facilitate improved decision-making in both children and their caregivers, equipping them with the tools necessary to address behavioral issues effectively at home.
\n
• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and allied professionals to design and maintain integrated care plans that provide comprehensive support.
\n
• Document and submit intake evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes punctually to ensure compliance with clinical standards and facilitate continuous care.

• Participate actively in team meetings, offering insights and recommendations for client treatment and overall improvement of service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapeutic services are directed at children and adolescents who exhibit developmental challenges and intellectual impairments. Our therapists engage with a diverse range of families, focusing on establishing trusting relationships that lead to positive therapeutic outcomes. The clients we serve often require individualized care plans that integrate their unique cultural and situational contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Must possess a valid, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Colorado.

• Flexibility in schedule is a plus, particularly availability for 5-10 hours per week during the late afternoon and early evening (4-7 PM).

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with positive behavior support strategies, particularly in educational or therapeutic settings.

• Prior experience working with children aged 3-20, especially those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), is highly desirable.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are necessary to travel for in-home sessions.

• Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
