Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality individual or group therapy sessions, primarily in a virtual setting, that address the unique needs of children and their families.

• Implement therapeutic interventions that focus on improving behaviors and coping strategies, including anger management and social skills development.

• Assist families in enhancing their decision-making skills to address and manage in-home behavioral challenges effectively.

• Collaborate consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team, including social workers, educational staff, and other mental health professionals to support comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy sessions, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with organizational guidelines.

• Participate in monthly team meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations that enhance therapy practices and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will primarily serve children aged 3 to 20 who experience developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. This diverse client population requires sensitivity, understanding, and a dedication to employing best therapeutic practices to help them overcome obstacles and achieve personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory to practice in Nevada.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours weekly during after-school hours (approximately 4-7 PM) is essential, with weekend availability considered a desirable asset.

• A valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle are necessary for any potential travel for in-person sessions as needed.

• Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, prior to employment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing positive behavior support in therapeutic settings is highly preferred.

• Prior work with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
