Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for individuals, couples, and families to identify specific needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in individual and group sessions, dynamically adjusting techniques to meet client-specific objectives.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, using strategic de-escalation techniques.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, including treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive mental health care tailored to each client.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, empower them with coping strategies, and advocate for their needs within the healthcare system.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Kansas, specifically as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C.

• A minimum of two years of direct mental health counseling experience is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Grace Place Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
