Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their individual mental health needs through diagnostic assessments and structured interviews.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on the assessment outcomes, setting measurable goals to track client progress.

• Offer crisis intervention services, assessing risks, and coordinating necessary emergency responses to ensure the immediate safety and support of clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training, webinars, and workshops, keeping abreast of the latest research and methodologies in the mental health field.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals—psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers—to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals in the Jacksonville, Florida area, who may face challenges related to mental health conditions. You will engage with a diverse client population, including youth, adults, and families requiring compassionate and professional interventions. Many clients may come from underserved backgrounds, enhancing the importance of culturally sensitive practices to ensure they receive the highest level of care.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid and active licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of Florida, meeting state-specific requirements.

Compensation and Benefits\n
