Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed intake assessments to understand the unique needs of each client, forming the foundation for personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions addressing a broad spectrum of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, and more.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Whispering Winds, you will be providing therapy to a diverse clientele. Your patients may range from children and adolescents facing emotional difficulties to adults navigating complex life challenges. Your role will involve adapting therapeutic techniques to effectively address varied cultural backgrounds and individual experiences, ultimately empowering clients to pursue their mental health goals in a supportive setting.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• A minimum of three (3) years of direct experience working with individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, which supports efficient documentation and client management.
