Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate the substance abuse histories, mental health statuses, and treatment requirements of clients entering the program.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients, including coordination of medical and psychiatric interventions.

• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients' families, enhancing their understanding and ability to contribute positively to the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve consist predominantly of individuals struggling with substance use disorders, many of whom may also face co-occurring mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Your role will empower these clients to navigate their recovery journey by equipping them with the necessary tools and coping strategies for long-term sobriety.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for candidates holding a master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated expertise in addiction counseling, supported by relevant training or direct experience in substance abuse treatment.
