Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to establish a comprehensive understanding of their mental health needs.

• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions, focused on strategies that align with the identified needs of each patient, fostering a supportive and healing environment.

• Manage administrative tasks including billing, documentation, and the completion of individualized treatment plans and insurance authorization forms within specified timelines.
\n
• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to ensure ongoing support for patients maintaining stable functioning.

• Create thorough discharge plans, coordinating with patients to facilitate their transition out of active therapy.
\n
• Adhere to all current federal and state regulations, agency policies, and procedures to uphold ethical standards in practice.

• Maintain professional competence by participating in relevant training and continuing education opportunities.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate with colleagues and enhance collective knowledge and services.
\n
• Complete all necessary licensure and mandatory training as required by the state and the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor at Impireum, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients often present with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. By providing tailored therapeutic interventions, you will play a critical role in improving the psychological well-being of your clients and impacting their lives positively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist in the state of Kansas (LCPC, LCMFT, LCSW), allowing you to practice independently.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.

• Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with telehealth practices.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
