Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment.

• Utilize a diverse range of psychotherapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic and effective client care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, continuing education, and participation in case reviews to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and families who have limited access to mental health services, addressing a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our patient population represents diverse backgrounds and experiences, requiring a counselor who is culturally competent and empathetic, adept at building rapport with clients from different walks of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas.
