Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to determine clients' substance abuse history, mental health status, and treatment requirements, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.

• Create personalized treatment plans that not only target addiction but also address intertwined mental health issues, using a holistic and client-centered approach.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI), focusing on the unique needs of each client.

Our client base includes diverse demographics, each with unique challenges and backgrounds. You will support clients through their recovery process, which may include managing withdrawal symptoms, addressing co-occurring mental health disorders, and encouraging lifestyle changes for sustained sobriety.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or substantial experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment.

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for addressing substance abuse as well as co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport and motivate clients throughout their recovery journey.

• Effective communication skills to work harmoniously with a multidisciplinary treatment team and with clients.
