In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to our furry guests while ensuring a fun and safe environment. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Conduct regular health and behavior assessments of all dogs in the daycare. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including play areas and kennels. Communicate effectively with pet parents regarding their dog's behavior and needs. Administer medications and provide basic first aid as needed. Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and volunteers. Implement and participate in enrichment activities to promote mental stimulation. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the daycare environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; experience in animal care preferred. Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both pets and people. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work on your feet and stand for extended periods. CPR and First Aid certification for pets is a plus. Previous experience in a daycare, kennel, or similar environment is preferred. Passion for animal care and a friendly, positive attitude. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Reliable transportation required Part time also available with Minimum of 3 days a week (4 hour shift minimum) throughout training process Prior dog experience in daycare/rescue/shelter/animal handling Must be at least 17 to apply (Working papers required for 17 y/o) Schedule 6 or 8 hour shifts available Shifts available: morning, day, and evening Monday to Friday and weekend availability; holiday rotation required Application Question(s) Please briefly describe your dog experience whether it be personal, professional, or volunteer work.
