Key Responsibilities\n

• Participate in discharge planning from the initial day of patient admission to ensure smooth transitions, including confirming discharge appointments with clients and their families.

• Manage crisis situations effectively within therapy sessions and provide essential support to milieu staff in their interactions with patients and families.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout each patient's treatment journey—ensuring that all notes and records are completed at the time of service.
\n
• Build strong therapeutic rapport with patients and their families by conducting thorough assessments for suicidality and risks to self or others.
\n
• Facilitate seamless admission assessments for new patients, creating a welcoming atmosphere and demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.
\n
• Engage actively in weekly treatment team meetings, where you communicate treatment goals and may offer clinical support to colleagues in their absence.
\n
• Conduct utilization reviews for insurance providers, supplying the necessary clinical information to obtain initial authorizations and ensuring continued coverage as required.
\n
• Remain accessible to families and loved ones, responding to inquiries and concerns promptly—within 2 hours during business hours, and within 24 hours at other times.
\n
• Liaise effectively with the Utilization Review and Business Departments to coordinate all authorization and payment communications, ensuring continuity of care across the treatment spectrum.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An independent license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.

• Skills in email communication and corresponding professionally with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
