Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with physicians' directives.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions across a wide range of specialties, including orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports medicine.
• Providing skilled therapeutic care, focusing on improving patients' functional abilities in alignment with their recovery goals.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall effectiveness of patient care through collaboration with fellow clinicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Consulting and educating patients and their caregivers about treatment processes, self-management strategies, and lifestyle adaptations.
• Tracking patient progress and meeting specific utilization goals tied to performance metrics while contributing to the business's success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population, including:

• Individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries, requiring tailored rehabilitation programs.
• Children needing pediatric therapy for developmental or functional challenges.
• Patients with neurological conditions, enabling them to regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficient computer and word processing capabilities.

Preferred Experience

At least two years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy is preferred. Candidates with specialized experience in managing diverse patient populations and implementing evidence-based treatment methodologies will excel in this position.
