Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, specifically focusing on mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.

• Collaborate with each client to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique challenges and objectives.

• Utilize established therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver tailored interventions that foster healing and growth.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, outlining various treatment options and essential self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress throughout treatment, adjusting the treatment approach as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated and integrative care model, elevating patient outcomes.

• Remain current with research developments in mood disorder therapies and contribute knowledge to the treatment process.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential documentation of all client interactions according to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case discussions, team meetings, and training opportunities to continuously enhance clinical skills and efficacy.

• Advocate for clients to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues, promoting awareness and education within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at MindPath Care Counseling Center, you will primarily serve individuals who are struggling with mood disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
