Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients, identifying their mental health needs to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions as well as group therapy or family sessions, depending on your expertise and the needs of your clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or mindfulness practices, to support clients in achieving their mental wellness goals.

• Perform routine mental health screenings to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
\n
• Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

• Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate on case discussions, share insights, and provide peer support.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed about the latest trends and practices in the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work predominantly with diverse populations including children, adolescents, families, and couples, addressing a wide array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will be critical in helping individuals navigate their challenges and improve their overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, leading to licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Active state licensure to practice as a mental health professional in Washington.

• Ability to establish rapport with clients and demonstrate empathy and understanding in all interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in mental health counseling, specifically with those addressing mental and behavioral health challenges.
