Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status, identify key issues, and develop tailored therapeutic treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapy sessions, including individual and group therapy, utilizing techniques that are culturally responsive and client-centered.

• Regularly monitor clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure that therapeutic goals are met.

• Facilitate psychoeducation workshops that empower clients with coping strategies and resources for managing their mental health.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes.

• Document client interactions and treatment progress accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Engage in weekly supervision and team meetings to stay updated on best practices and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Understanding the unique cultural backgrounds and circumstances of your clients will be essential in providing effective support. Your ability to foster trust and establish rapport will play a key role in your clients’ journey toward healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid, active clinical license (LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of four years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a deep understanding of various mental health disorders.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, allowing for efficient documentation and client management.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, able to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to connect with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
