Budget and Contract Analyst

Summary California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) is seeking an Analyst II to perform assignments related to division budgeting, contract analysis, and special projects under the Deputy Chief Actuary of Valuation Services. The position is permanent, full time, with a salary range of $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month. Telework This hybrid role allows up to two days of remote work and three days onsite per week. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze division budgets and financial projections. Conduct contract analysis, review terms, and evaluate compliance. Support special projects and initiatives within the Actuarial Office. Minimum Qualifications Experience in fiscal or financial roles. Experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines. Experience working in state or government budgeting offices, including reports and projections. Knowledge of accessibility compliance and document accessibility. Desirable Qualifications Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and/or contracts. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective organization and prioritization to meet deadlines.
