We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join the Simply Being Care Wellness Center team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to provide quality mental health services from the comfort of your own space while making a positive impact in the community of Austin, Texas. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapies designed to promote healing and personal growth.

Work Environment\n

In this role, you will enjoy a remote work environment that supports flexibility and work-life balance. While the standard schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, some flexibility may be required depending on patient needs and case load. Our dedicated team works collaboratively, engaging in regular communication to ensure every client receives tailored, effective mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using established evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.

• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other effective modalities as necessary.
\n
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards by accurately documenting clinical records and patient interactions, ensuring confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review sessions aimed at enhancing the overall quality of care and professional development.
\n
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, equipping them with vital knowledge about mental health conditions and treatment options, as well as community resources.
\n
• Stay current with advancements and research in the mental health sector to incorporate the most effective strategies into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will impact a diverse clientele within the Austin community, ranging from individuals coping with anxiety and depression to those navigating the complexities of trauma. You will employ your therapeutic skills to build strong, trusting relationships with clients, fostering an environment that promotes open communication and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Texas.

• Proven ability to leverage solution-based psychotherapy techniques to deliver personalized mental health care and interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside strong interpersonal abilities.
\n
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills essential for assessing client needs and developing effective treatment plans.

• A collaborative spirit, valuing teamwork and open communication with fellow mental health professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health setting, providing therapy to a variety of populations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous, enabling effective and efficient patient documentation.

• A track record of engaging in professional development activities guided by continuing education or certifications related to mental health therapy.
