Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to assigned clients, addressing symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders through individual, group, and family therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet shared goals, demonstrating a commitment to collective problem-solving and communication.
• Respect and integrate diverse traditions and beliefs into your practice, ensuring cultural competence in your interactions.
• Maintain adherence to professional ethical guidelines and organizational policies while enhancing the quality of care.
• Lead the development of integrated care plans, ensuring that clients have access to necessary services and resources.
• Conduct assessments and screenings, designing treatment strategies that are evidence-based and tailored to clients’ unique needs.
• Implement crisis intervention techniques and provide immediate support to clients when needed.
• Monitor ongoing treatment progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve the best outcomes.
• Complete comprehensive documentation promptly, including reports and data submissions, to support organizational objectives.
• Provide on-call coverage as needed to ensure availability to clients beyond regular program hours.
• Engage in committees aimed at improving service delivery and quality assurance within the agency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse client population that includes individuals with severe emotional and psychological challenges. Our focus is on those who are part of under-served communities, often facing barriers to accessing adequate mental health care. Your clinical insights will directly influence their recovery journeys and empower them in overcoming obstacles.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid LCSW licensure in the state of California is mandatory.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues alike.
• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage a diverse caseload and meet documentation requirements.
• Ability to address age-related or specialty issues relevant to the populations we serve.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of direct clinical experience working with individuals facing mental health issues is preferred.
• Bilingual candidates, particularly those proficient in English and Spanish, are highly desirable to address our diverse client base.
