Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the varied needs of clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders.

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, developing actionable and customized treatment plans in alignment with their personal goals.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to clients during critical moments, utilizing taught techniques to stabilize emotional distress and guide clients toward recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues through psychoeducation, fostering understanding and cooperation in the treatment process.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and health coaches, to holistically support clients throughout their mental health journey.

• Document and maintain accurate clinical records that meet ethical and legal standards while ensuring client confidentiality.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and education by attending workshops, training sessions, and supervision meetings to stay updated on mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals from various cultural, socio-economic, and developmental backgrounds. Our client base features adults, adolescents, and families, all seeking guidance and support through their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field with a focus on counseling, psychology, or social work.

• A valid Independent LPC license from the state of Oregon, with the ability to effectively utilize it in a virtual setting.

• Proficient in maintaining clinical documentation and preparing detailed, comprehensive reports.

• Strong collaborative skills necessary for successful teamwork in an interdisciplinary setting.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.

• Good judgment and the ability to make autonomous decisions based on professional ethics and knowledge.

Preferred Experience\n
